Started in 2023, we aim to bring community awareness to Historic European Martial Arts and Buhurt with a Halloween themed tournament.
Core Tournaments
Core tournaments form the cornerstone of our event
Each year, our core tournaments do not change which weapons are fought with. They are the heart of the event, delivering the consistency, prestige, and high-level competition that our community looks forward to year after year. See below for our core tournaments.

Saturday Evening Fright Feast
Since its first year, Fright Fight has hosted the Saturday Evening Fright Feast. Dine with your family, friends, and fellow competitors with a catered meal. This event isn’t one to miss, as it’s a great time to socialize and create memories outside of the tournament ring.
Dress your spookiest!
During Fright Fight, we encourage participants and spectators to wear a festive costume. If worn over tournament gear, please ensure that there are no sharp protrusions or other materials that can harm fellow participants or create safety concerns during the tournament.
Second-Life Marketplace
The Second Life (second hand) Marketplace is a competitor run bazaar of gently used gear and sparring weapons. Have gear or swords gathering cobwebs and dust? Bring them to Fright Fight and give them a Second Life.
Costume Contest
In addition to encouraging fighters wear their spookiest, we host a Children’s and Adult’s costume contest during our Fright Feast.
